Broadcasting for Over 45 Years
Over 45 years ago, residents of the Alexandria area contributed thousands of dollars (approximately $500,000) to build a TV translator system. The money was used to build three towers and transmission equipment. The area had one dependable channel at the time.

Selective TV is transmitted over the air and is not delivered by cable or satellite. In most cases, you need an outside antenna to receive the signal we provide.

Supported By Viewers
Contributions received are used for repairs, upgrading equipment, insurance, land leases, etc.

Selective TV is a nonprofit organization operating with funds donated by the viewers. Currently, our dues are $150 per year, but any amount is welcome.
